[Also in Division A2] A baking or drying oven comprises superposed chambers 2,3,4 having associated channels 6- 9 through which hot gases from a burner 5 flow under the influence of a fan 11 connected, via. a vertical channel 12 and a common, header duct 10, to the channels 6-9, and the chambers have exhaust orifices 17, 18, 19, and 17<SP>1</SP>; 18<SP>1</SP>, 19<SP>1</SP> at each end connected, via a common exhaust conduit 20, 20<SP>1</SP> respectively, with. a horizontal channel 15 housing-an exhaust fan 14 mounted on the sam e drive shaft as the fan 11.
