Abstract

1,132,663. Gloves. H. P. BEDFORD. 10 July, 1967 [12 April, 1967], No. 16692/67. Heading A3V. For protecting the hand while carving meat, finger and thumb stalls 4, 5, integral with a glove or attached, e.g. by bonding, to a glove formed with or without finger tips, have protrusions 6, 8 to lie in the path of a slipping knife and spikes 7 to grip the joint. The spikes may be replaced by serrations on the pad side of the stalls 4, 5. The spikes are preferably made of metal and are moulded into the stalls or into whole gloves of rubber, fibre glass or other plastics materials.
