Abstract

1,132,388. Chains. MORSE CHAIN CO. 17 Aug., 1966 [1 Oct., 1965], No. 36833/66. Heading F2Q. A drive chain comprises sets of spaced links 14 interleaved with sets of spaced links 12, the sets being interconnected by straight pins 30 of arcuate cross-section and spring rockers 32, also of arcuate cross-section. Spring links 36 tend to bind the links together so as to cooperate with the pintle assemblies in resisting articulation. Belleville washers may be substituted for the spring links 36. In a modification, each pintle comprises a pin 42, Fig. 11, of circular cross-section, and a spring member 40 of arcuate cross-section.
