[Also in Division C4] Composite metal particles in flake, leaf or flat form are obtained by ball-milling Zn, Pb or Cd particles with small amounts, e.g. up to 10% by wt. of Al, Cu or Mg singly or alloyed together, in the presence of an organic carrying liquid. Specified carriers are xylene or white spirit optionally containing a surfactant such as lauric or oleic acid.
