Abstract

1,130,483. Door handles. E. HOLDEN & CO. (BIRMINGHAM) Ltd. 8 Feb., 1967 [10 Feb., 1966], No. 5842/66. Heading E2A. The shank 10 of a door handle and a member 13 carried thereby have respective formations whereby they can be assembled into non-rotatable engagement by sliding the member on to the shank transversely relative to the axis of the shank, the member being arranged to cooperate with a relatively fixed part 12 on an attachment plate 11 so as to act as stop means for limiting angular movement of the handle. As shown, the member 13 is recessed to permit sliding engagement with slots (14) formed in the shank 10. In another arrangement, Fig. 5 (not shown) in which a pair of return springs is used, the member 13 cooperates with a pin in the plate 11. Specification 5841/66 is referred to.
