Abstract

1,129,010. Flower pots. KEYES FIBRE CO. 18 Oct., 1966 [3 Nov., 1965], No. 46485/66. Heading A1E. A moulded container of fibrous pulp material comprises a bottom 12 and a conical side wall 16, the connection between the bottom and side wall forming a corner lying in a flat plane, the bottom including a flat centre portion 28 spaced above the plane having a drainage aperture 34, and a conical portion extending upwardly from the corner to the centre portion. The bottom also includes downwardly projecting support means 40 formed in the conical portion to extend from adjacent the aperture to the corner, and upwardly projecting channel means 36 formed in the conical portion to extend from the centre portion to the corner, the channel means forming at least one interruption in the comer 38 whereby air may circulate beneath the pot. The shoulder 22 of the side wall permits nesting.
