Shelving or racking comprises two laterally spaced sets (1, 2) of parallel bars and a sheet (5) of flexible material passed in zig-zag fashion successively over bars of the two sets to define shelves. The bars may be supported at their ends in selected holes in side frames (3). The shelves may be inclined (Fig. 1) to provide a letter rack. The sheet (5) may be passed around single bars of each set (1, 2), around pairs of bars, or a combination of these arrangements.
