Abstract

1,122,070. Seed sowing machines. G. H. PALM. 6 Oct., 1966 [7 Oct., 1965], No. 44679/66. Heading A1D. A plate for supporting a seed sowing device so that it may operate at a constant depth comprises a plate with a convexly curved centre portion and two slightly concavely curved side portions 1c so that the sides of the plate lie considerably lower than the centre portion. The front la is curved upwardly and is provided with two arched groove-like recesses 1b between which is a flange 2. A flange 4 is provided for attaching the plate to an arm of the seed sowing machine.
