Abstract

1,121,160. Telescopic masts. WIKSTRAND & BURG, WIBE, A.B. 5 July, 1967 [5 Aug., 1966], No. 31007/67. Heading E1B. A telescopic mast comprises three triangular aluminium members 1, 2 and 3, each having three tubular triangular corner posts 4, the outer edges 5, 5' of the inner posts forming slide rails for outer posts and the inner faces of the posts being formed with grooves 7 in which the inner posts slide. Nylon guide blocks 8 are fixed inside the top of all but the innermost post and outside the bottom of all but the outermost post. Each member 1, 2. 3, comprises three parts a, b, c joined together by expanding dowel pins within the tubular posts.
