Abstract

1,119,259. Mounting electric motors. GEOFFREY WOODS Ltd. 3 May, 1967 [2 Sept., 1966], No. 39310/66. Heading H2A. A fan motor is mounted in a cylindrical duct 4 by means of one or more intermediate rings 5 secured by adjustable bolts 6 and carrying a motor mounting platform 9. This arrangement is particularly applicable to foot-mounted motors. If desired, only two supporting bolts may be used, and the ring 5 may be of aerofoil section.
