Abstract

1,118,490. Brackets. S. V. GIARDINA and P. FICHERA. 7 Sept., 1965, No. 57847/67. Divided out of 1,111,587. Heading A4B. [Also in Division F2] An arrangement for suspending a load from an overhead structure 100, comprises a plate 114 with inclined bores 120, 122, and pins 106, 108 which frictionally engage holes 102, 104 in the structure, a screw-threaded member 124 depending from the plate and having a frusto-conically shaped disc 126 freely displaceable along it, and a nut 132 to force the disc to abut the heads 110, 112 of the pins. In Fig. 2 (not shown) a further disc (160) is forced downwards by a nut (162) to cause the pins to compress the structure between them.
