Abstract
1,116,512. Gas burners. M. LEBLANC. 23 July, 1965 [6 August 1964], No. 31537/65. Heading F4T. In a water heating appliance, gas burners 1 are supported between openings 16 in a hood 6 and a slotted bar 24, the burners being of rightangled shape with box-like horizontal limbs 3 open at their uppermost faces to receive laterally slotted bars 4, and their vertical limbs being formed with Venturis 2 which receive gas from injectors 13 projecting from a gas distribution box 12 supplied with gas from a pipe 17. The hood 6 and box 12 are screwed to a shell 18 spaced from a wall 22 such that primary air may pass through a bottom gap 21 to hood 6 via an opening in shell 18. A pan arranged below the burner may be shaped to distribute secondary air.
