[Also in Divisions B3 and F4] A fluid-tight swivel joint for use in apparatus for casting metals &c. includes a sleeve 29 which may be integral with a pouring spout 22 or elbow 24 and through which a cooling fluid is circulated. The joint is retained in a clamped condition by clamps 34. The sleeve may have a number of cooling stages, and there may be a plurality of sleeves.
