Abstract

A knitted dress is produced by knitting front and back panels on a straight-bar knitting-machine and suitably shaping the waist portion by fashioning. The top of the dress panels are also shaped so that after the front and back panels have been seamed together along their edges, fashioned sleeves can be secured by seaming. A turned down rib collar can be attached to the neck of the dress which can be provided with a sliding fastener at the back. The bottom of the dress and the ends of the sleeves may be formed as rib welts.ALSO:A knitted dress is produced by knitting front and back panels on a straight-bar machine and suitably shaping the waist portion by fashioning.
