Abstract
1,113,324. Coin testing machines. NATIONAL REJECTORS Inc. G.m.b.H. 28 April, 1966 [19 July, 1965], No. 18762/66. Heading G4V. A coin testing device having walls arranged at a space from each other with a coin passageway formed between and a cradle 70 pivotally mounted near the passageway and comprising coin receiving surfaces 72, 74 spaced from each other and interrupting authentic coins of the right denomination is characterized in that a latch 84 is pivotally mounted on the cradle 70 and comprises a coin receiving surface and a latching surface disposed in a protection 86, the latching surface engaging in a slot 52 and preventing any substantial pivotal movement of the cradle until the coin receiving surface is biased by a coin of the desired denomination so that the latching surface is moved to release the cradle so that it may tilt to allow the coin to roll down a runway 100.
