Abstract
The title compound is prepared by heating cyclohexylamine with sulphamic acid under sufficient pressure to maintain the liquid phase in the presence of water. The product is converted to an alkali or alkaline earth metal cyclohexylsulphamate by treatment with the appropriate metal base, e.g. the hydroxide of Na, K, Ca or Mg.
