A test tube 11 of flexible plastics for urine is closed by a plastics stopper 12 having a drop delivery tube 14 enclosed by a removable cap 15. Lines 17 . . . 19 indicate the level in the tube 11. A writing surface (20), Fig. 1 (not shown), is provided on the outside of the tube, which has a frusto-conical closed end to facilitate its use in a centrifuge.
