Abstract

Non-aqueous penicillin preparations for pharmaceutical or veterinary use comprise a procaine penicillin, a non-ionic wetting agent and, as stabiliser, procaine base. They may be employed in the formulation of compositions for topical, parenteral, rectal or intramammary administration comprising conventional non-aqueous carriers and excipients, e.g. dyes.
