Abstract

1,109,580. Collapsible sliding doors. DAVID T. PICKETT & SONS (ENGINEERS) Ltd. 10 Feb., 1967 [8 Sept., 1966], No. 40135/66. Heading E1J. In a collapsible sliding door assembly including a lattice built up from lattice bars 12, 12' guided to function in lazy-tongs fashion, the ends of the end bars are secured to a hollow picket post 10, 10' having a plane wall by bolts and nuts 13 with the bolts passing through respective aligned slots 11, 11' in the plane faces of the picket post, each bolt head being within the post and of a width larger than the width of the slot. The bolts have preferably a square section shank adjacent the head to slide in the slot. The ends of each slot may be formed with an enlargement.
