Abstract

1,109,085. Filing papers. SNOWDEX Ltd. 6 Sept., 1966 [8 June, 1965], No. 24171/65. Heading B6E. In a suspension filing system wherein file folders (5) provided with suspension bars (4) are supported on a pair of parallel guide rails 1, each of the guide rails is formed in two or more sections, such as 7, 8, which are in telesoopic engagement one with the other, so that the overall length can be varied. The guide rails 1 can be secured at each end to bracing bars 2, and are generally of box-shaped cross-section, but cut away to present a lengthwise opening (3) for receiving the ends of the suspension bars (4). The section 8 has a number of screwthreaded holes therein to receive screws 9 which pass through slots 10 in the section 7. In modifications, the bracing bars 2 comprise two or more sections telescopically connected, and the rails 1 and bars 2 are supported on upright corner posts which are also in sections telescopically connected.
