1,104,784. Pneumatic motors. COMERCIAL ESP†NOLA PARA LA DIFUSIËN INDUSTRIAL S.A. and MARTONAIR Ltd. Oct. 18, 1965 [Oct. 16, 1964], No.44013/65. Heading F1M. A reciprocating pneumatic driving motor comprises a reciprocating piston 9 which divides the motor cylinder 4 into two double acting chambers and is provided with an output piston rod 12 and a working piston rod 13 with opposed faces, the piston rods sliding within fluid tight working chambers separated from the cylinder by seals 17, 17a and connected to the respective working chambers of a sliding valve arranged to feed the two chambers of the cylinder alternately, the working chambers of the valve being connectable to the respective adjacent chambers of the cylinder at the ends of the strokes of the piston rods by means of passages 31, 35 formed in the piston rods. The two sides of the seals are in communication at the ends of the strokes. The sliding valve includes a bleed passage regulator leading to atmosphere from a compressed air inlet to the valve.
