Abstract

1,102,595. Pipe joints. GEORG FISCHER A.G. 29 April, 1966 [30 April, 1965], No. 19084/66. Heading F2G. A directionally adjustable device for connecting a pipe to a screw-threaded bore includes a screw 1 adapted at 5 for a turning tool, and with a hollow shank 10 for engagement in the bore 7 and a necked part forming, with a collar fitting rotatably thereon and having at least one pipe-connecting stem 2, a recess 8 therearound which communicates through converging bores 9 with the hollow shank 10; there being co-operating sealing faces on the screw and collar above and below the recess 8 and the screw having a shoulder as at 15 therearound to bear axially on to a corresponding shoulder on the collar when the screw is tightened down. The collar may have more than one pipe connecting stem; for instance, two, so as to form a T-joint of the device.
