Abstract
1,100,950. Spray-producers. D. D. SADLER. 29 Oct., 1964 [2 Nov., 1963], No. 43338/63. Heading B2F. [Also in Division A5] A nozzle for a fire-extinguisher comprises a rose 22 secured to an end plate 18 by a hollow bolt 20 with orifices 23 through which the fluid passes. On the other side of the end plate, a valve closure member 14 with shoulder 16 is urged to a closing position across the inlet neck 13 by a coil spring 15 the strength of which is chosen so that the valve opens when a predetermined fluid pressure (e.g. 55 p.s.i) is reached in the supply line.
