110,058. Lockwood, A. C. Dec. 7, 1916. Crematory furnaces.-A gas-heated furnace for cremating human remains has in the floor on each side a grip 0 supported above an ash-pit B. The burners N are fitted at the front or sides of the ash-pits, and heated air is supplied through channels D. The main flue C runs under the rising floor at the back of each ash-pit.
