Abstract

1,196,680. Kerbs. 'PRIC' PATENT RESEARCH (INTERNATIONAL) CORP. INC. 6 Dec., 1967 [6 Dec., 1966], No. 55505/6.7. Heading E1G. A method of forming kerbs comprises supporting a metal kerb element, having a main sloping portion 1, an upper edge portion 6 and a vertical corrugated portion 4, on spaced brackets 9 having a portion 9a fitting over electrical trunking 10, and then casting the concrete of the road and the pavement therearound and finally applying the surfacing 2 and 3 to the pavement and the road. A reflector 8 may be provided on the main portion of the kerb. The vertical portion 4 may have cut out tongues projecting alternately into the concrete on either side thereof.
