Abstract

1,196,338. Gas burners. MAXON PREMIX BURNER CO. Inc. 8 March, 1968 [13 Dec., 1967], No. 11520/68. Heading F4T. A gas burner includes a fuel conduit 72 and a pair of burner faces 74, 74 inclined with respect to one another to include an angle between 80 and 100 degrees, ports 76, 78 provided normal to the faces being staggered relative to those of the other face to provide an interlaced flame pattern. Counterbore depressions 80 around the ports sustain ignition of the main jets.
