Abstract
1,196,178. Filling containers. ZUNDMETALL-VERKAUFS-G.m.b.H. 27 Nov., 1968 [2 Dec., 1967], No. 56350/68. Heading B8T. [Also in Division F4F] A liquified gas refill cartridge 3 with a supply valve stem 5 is provided with a fitting piece which is pushed into the stein 5 and consists of two parts, an annular disc 2 having a peripheral recessed stop surface, and a generally frustoconical part 1 embracing the disc by a central cavity in the base of the cone and lying against the stop surface. When used with e.g. gas lighters, gas candles, toy cookers, having a shallow filling valve opening, both parts 1 and 2 are retained on stem 5 as shown. If the filling valve opening is deeper, part 1 alone is placed on stem 5 to allow the stem to penetrate the opening to a greater extent.
