A mixer for animal feeding-stuffs of the kind comprising a vertical screw conveyer 8 for circulation of material in a container 2, has a stationary, vertically-adjustable distributor in the form of a frusto-cone 28 round the screw. Additional materials may be supplied from the hopper 16 through the cylindrical valve 18.
