Abstract
1,195,098. Polypropylene compositions. BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK A.G. 14 Nov., 1967 [15 Nov., 1966], No. 51669/67. Heading C3P. Moulding compositions comprise by weight 100 parts of polypropylene and 0.5 to 60 parts of an oxalate of a transition metal or a metal of Group II or III of the Periodic System. Specified oxalates are zinc, cadmium, mercury (II), tin (II), lead (II), titanium (III), vanadium (III), chromium (III), manganese, (IV), copper (I), copper (II), silver (I), gold (I), germanium (IV), aluminium, zirconium (IV), hafnium (IV), thorium (III), niobium (III), tantalum (III), molybdenum (V), tungsten (IV), uranium (III), chromium (II), iron (II), cobalt (II), osmium (V), magnesium, strontium and barium oxalates. The compositions may also contain dyes, stabilizers, and lubricants, and may be made into films, sheets and packings.
