Abstract

1,194,789. Electro-photographic developing device. FUJI SHASHIN FILM K. K. July 10, 1968 [Aug. 14, 1967; Sept. 13, 1967], No.32939/68. Heading G2H. An electro-photographic developing device comprises an inclined conductive surface 1 forming a developing electrode, holding means 2 provided near the upper edge of said surface to hold a sheet of electro-photographic paper 6 adjacent the surface 1 and feeding means 3, 4 to supply intermittently a liquid developer between the conductive surface and the sheet. In a second embodiment Figs. 3a, 3b (not shown) the developing electrode is a conductive thin plate (7) and the sensitive sheet (6) lies in contact with the inclined surface (1) between it and the plate (7). The liquid developer dispenser comprises a chamber 2 provided with a slit or row of holes 3. A valve 4 is provided to regulate the feed rate of developer and the chamber, constantly replenished with developer, e.g. by a pump (11) Fig. 5 (not shown), is arranged to be lifted periodically e. g. by a cam mechanism (20) Fig. 6 (not shown) allowing valve 4 to open periodically and the sheet 6 or (7) to be lifted by an apron 5.
