Abstract

1,192,594. Extruding. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. 6 Oct., 1967 [13 Oct., 1966], No. 45799/67. Heading B3P. A cold extrusion press has a die 1 with a conical external surface fitting within a die holder 2 mounted in the container 3, the die having limited axial movement within its holder whereby upon ejection of a partially extruded workpiece 7 in a direction opposite to the extrusion direction, Fig. 2 (not shown), radial pressure on the workpiece is relieved.
