Abstract

1,192,591. Horticultural frames. H. ENDER. 31 Aug., 1967 [2 Sept., 1966], No. 39936/67. Heading A1E. [Also in Division E1] A removable panel system for a horticultural frame comprises a series of flexibly connected panels 94 (see Division E1-E2) which can be collapsed in zig-zag fashion by connecting adjacent members of adjacent panels by a tubular foil 90 held tensioned between two tensioning members 92, shown in the form of rods around which also the panel foils 89 extend to be tensioned by the members 92 when pressed home into the clamping sections 66 integral with the stiffening sections of the adjacent frame members, which as shown are hollow plastic sections filled with a core, e.g. of wood. The end wall of the horticultural frame consists of a weighted tubular foil suspended at its upper end on the end clamping rod of the series of panels (Fig. 24).
