Abstract

1,192,413. Angler's float. A. COOKLIN. 21 Aug., 1968 [13 Sept., 1967], No. 41680/67. Heading A1A. An angler's float assembly comprises a buoyant body 1 and a cane indicator arm 2 coupled to the body with the terminal tackle 8 suspended from a point on the arm away from the point of connection between the arm 2 and body 1, so that the arm is angularly movable when a downward force is applied to the tackle about a point such that the arm never lies in the plane of the surface of the water. The arm is attached to the body by being a sliding fit in a hole bored in the body or by suspending the arm from the body by eyes of nylon. A weight 3, and band 6 and eye 5 to attach the line to the float assembly, are also provided.
