Abstract

1,191,276. Electromagnetic switches. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 22 Aug., 1967 [9 Sept., 1966], No. 40311/66. Heading H1N. A plunger armature type electromagnetic relay has its plunger armature 13 biased by a spring 19 acting between a part of the fixed relay structure and an extension attachedto the plunger at 17 and having extending axially parallel arms 15, 16 for the spring seating. A lever (not shown) is engaged between a spring- biased plate 31 and the end of a hole 18a in a plunger extension 18 and controls the pinion of an engine starting coupling.
