A stopper 11, for medicament flasks is made of a medicament-resisting elastic material, rubber in particular, and is fastened to the flask neck by a securing ring 12. The end wall which is of uniform thickness, is provided with a bulge, 11b, which may be hemispherical, and a cupshaped recess. The bulge facilitates insertion of a hypodermic needle, and maintains efficient sealing during withdrawal of the needle.
