1,189,579. Amplifier circuits; television. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. 15 Oct., 1968 [27 Sept., 1968], No. 48887/68. Headings H3T, H3W and H4F. An amplifying element, such as transistor 2, has loads 3, 7 in the two connections between the supply and the output of the element and switching means connecting the loads to an output terminal 4 whereby the polarity of the output signal in relation to the input signal may be selected. The circuit shown is used to bring positive and negative television signals to the same output polarity and the two load resistor circuits are equal so that the two output signals are equal. Equality of D.C. level in the output may be produced by a bias changing switch S 2 or by a D.C. restoring system.
