Abstract

1,189,397. Filing papers. L. LEITZ. 1 July, 1968 [12 July, 1967], No. 31335/68. Heading B6E. A marker tag for mounting on the edge of index cards, a suspended file holder or the like, comprises two parts 1, 4 which receive the marker strip between the two upper halves and attaches to an index card 7, 8, 9 by the two lower halves, the two parts 1, 4 being interconnected by a longitudinally central L- shaped hook 2 on one part and an aperture 10 on the other. One edge of the aperture 10 has a springy lobed lip 11 and the width of the opening is less than the length of the L-shaped hook 2. The lower half of part 1, which is stiffer than part 4, may be provided with pegs 6 which project through openings in the index card or folder into openings in the rear part.
