[Also in Division F2] A beverage dispenser comprises a plastics body 10 having a first liquid passage (51, 52, Fig. 10), 53 leading to a bore 85 terminating in a discharge aperture 93 of a diffuser element 79 of a dispensing nozzle 11, said passage including a valve 45, a second liquid passage (54), 55, 56, 53 leading to said bore and including a valve 46, a third liquid passage 57, 58, 59 leading to an annular passage 89, 90, 91, 92 terminating in a discharge aperture 93a between nozzle portion 79 and an outer coaxial nozzle cone 78, said third passage including a valve 47, said valves being openable on energization of solenoids 31, 32, 18a provided with movable valve elements 74 normally biased closed by springs 75, said solenoids being actuated by microswitches (33, 40, Figs. 4, 5, 7) which are operated independently on pivoting ol levers (12a, 12b) by positioning a cup &c. (30, Fig. 1) beneath the nozzle. In one arrangement, operation of lever (12a) opens valves 46, 47 to allow flow of syrup and soda, say. Operation of lever (12b) opens valves 45, 47 to allow flow of a different syrup and soda, say. Both levers may be operated simultaneously to mix the three liquids. With different wiring arrangements, operation of lever (12a) would open all three valves, and operation of lever (12b) would open only two valves, the latter controlling the flow of still water. The second liquid passage (54), 55, 56 could alternatively lead to annular passage 89, 90, 91, 92. Each liquid passage (51), 56, 59 has a part 60 provided with an adjustable screw 61 for controlling or preventing liquid flow in the respective passage.
