1,187,604. Clothes airer. ASSOCIATED SPRAYERS Ltd. 11 Oct., 1968 [11 July, 1967], No. 48252/68. Divided out of 1,187,603. Heading A4U. [Also in Division El] A tubular post 10 of a clothes airer has diametrically opposed bayonet slots 12 at its lower end for engagement with a rod 14 inserted in a selected pair of apertures 15 in a tubular socket 11 set in concrete in the ground. The slots have locking recesses 12c and the socket is crimped at 16 to ensure that the correct end is presented to receive the post.
