[Also in Divisions G1 and H1] An " AND " circuit component comprises a vacuum fluorescent readout device 20 (Division H1) and photo-sensitive device such as a photoelectric cell 42 in combination with a cathode follower type amplifier circuit. In normal operation, both control electrodes 24A and 24B are at positive potential and light emits from anode 23, negative potential inputs to both control electrodes being required to terminate conduction in the photo-cell.
