1,185,564. Perfluorinated vinylphenyl ethers. E. I. DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO. 6 March, 1968, No. 57150/68. Divided out of 1,185,563. Heading C2C. The invention comprises compounds of. the general formula where n = 1 or 2. The new compounds and octafluorovinylphenyl ether are prepared by pyrolysing a perfluorinated acyl fluoride of the formula where n = 0, 1, 2, described in Specification 1,185,565, or an alkali metal salt of the corresponding carboxylic acid, at a temperature of 100-250‹ C.
