Abstract
1,183,530. Linkwork. SIEMENS A.G. 27 Sept., 1968 [29 Sept., 1967], No. 45888/68. Heading F2K. A toothed disc 1 is driven at a uniform velocity from a shaft 10 and carries an eccentric shaft 2 on which a cam 4 is secured, the cam 4 being engaged by a rocker 7 on an output shaft 8. The shaft 2 also carries a gear 3 which meshes a fixed or rotating gear 6 so that rotation of disc 1 causes rotation of cam 4 about its own axis. A spring 11 maintains engagement of the rocker 7 with the cam 4. The arrangement of such that the velocity of the output shaft 8 is periodically reduced to zero.
