Abstract

1,181,333. Spinning top. RADA MANUFACTORY Ltd. 23 Aug., 1968, No. 40482/68. Heading A6S. A spinning top comprises a disc with a central depression on its upper surface a central spinning point on its lower surface a spinner with a rotating member which contacts the disc sets it spinning. The spinner 12 consists of 2 parts: housings 20, 21 joined along 22 by a snap connection. The drive shaft 24 may be rotated by an electric motor powered by a battery. The rotating drive shaft is inserted into the conical depression of the disc this starts the disc spinning whereat the spinning drive shaft is withdrawn. A series of discs can be rested together.
