Abstract
1,178,764. Linings for collars. NINO G.m.b.H. & CO. 13 Feb., 1967 [9 July, 1966], No. 6829/67. Heading A3V. In an interlining, for a shirt or blouse collar, comprising a base layer 5 and a second layer 10, the longitudinal edge 11 of the layer 10 in the neck band region runs convexly and substantially parallel to the other longitudinal edge. The layer 10 may be formed with a gap 16 along the collar fold line there being a bridge piece 18 at the middle and/or a bridge piece 18a at each end of the layer. The layer 10 is preferably a laminate of a textile web and a layer of plastics material or a textile web impregnated with a plastics material may be used. Layers 5 and 10 may be bonded together using a plastics bonding medium. Stiffeners (not shown) or stiffening patches such as 19 may be provided.
