Abstract

1,176,828. Flying toy. L. S. TURNER. 23 May, 1967 [17 June, 1966], No. 23877/67. Heading A6S. A flying toy has a shaft 11 and a pair of rudder vanes 12 extending outwardly from the rearward end of shaft 11, the shaft passing through the hole 19 in a pair of wing members 13, which are made from a single strip of plastic material and are given'a slight axial twist, each wing member having an opening 14 adapted to receive a vane 12. In use the toy may be propelled upwards as an arrow by launcher 15 (Fig. 1) and will descend as a helicopter as shown in Fig. 2.
