Abstract

1,175,289. Securing cushions. K. A. E. SILVANDERSSON. 8 Sept., 1967 [8 Sept., 1966], No. 41214/67. Heading A4M. A cushion comprises padding 2 in a cover 3 with a bottom side provided with a plurality of openings 5 each covered by an adhesive tape 6 secured to and within the cover so that the adhesive surface of the tape 6 faces outwardly of the cushion to secure it to a seat. A removable protective skin 7, which may be the part of the cover punched out to form the opening 5, covers the adhesive surface prior to securing the cushion. The skin 7 may be attached to the cover through a line of weakness resulting from incomplete punching.
