Abstract

1,174,596. Securing loads on vehicle floors. W. MURRAY. 13 Dec., 1967 [11 Nov., 1966], No. 50723/66. Heading B8E. [Also in Division B7] A vehicle floor 1 has uniformly arranged apertures 2 distributed thereover into which pegs 4 may be fitted to retain one or more cases 3, of less base area than that of the floor, from sliding during normal operation of the vehicle. The floor may be made from cross-slats of wood 5, 6, with slots grooved transversely so that slots 6 with upwardly opening grooves received slats 5 with downwardly opening grooves. The pegs may be wedge-like and made of wood.
