Abstract
1,173,739. Filters. ERIE TECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTS Inc. 11 Dec., 1968 [29 Jan., 1968], No. 58901/68. Heading H3U. A filter comprises a stack of annular beads 1 of lossy magnetic material, e.g. a ceramic ferrite or resin-bonded iron powder, a conductor 2 extending through the stack and the latter being surrounded by a ceramic tube 3. Cylindrical end portions of the tube 3 are coated with metallic paint bands 4, 5 covered by a thin ceramic layer 6 extending the full length of the tube. The end surfaces of the tube are coated with metallic paint 16a to form terminals for the electrodes 4, 5, solder beads 18, 19 making contact between the terminals 16a and end terminals 16, 17. An electrode 20 on the surface of layer 6 provides a ground terminal in capacity relation to the electrodes 4, 5.
