1,172,595. Metal-foil laminate. DISTILLERS CO. (YEAST) Ltd. 15 March, 1968 [17 March, 1967], No. 12739/67. Heading B5N. [Also in Division B8] A sealed package containing yeast is formed from a laminate of metal foil, preferably of thickness 0À008-0À050 mm., with paper, cardboard or gas-pervious plastics. The metal foil, e.g. aluminium, tin, stainless steel, may be bonded between two outer layers. Bonding may be at spaced points. The laminate allows carbon dioxide to escape from the package but does not allow oxygen to enter.
