1,172,354. Photo-electric smoke detectors. PYRENE CO. Ltd. Feb. 16, 1967 [Feb. 16, 1966], No. 22530/69. Divided out of 1,172,353. Heading G1A. The description is substantially identical to that of Specification 1,172, 353, but the main claim relates to the use of the thermistor T connected in series with the light source L, whereby the light output of the source varies with the temperature in such a manner as substantially to compensate for changes with temperature in the sensitivity of the light sensitive element RV.
